Van Breakdown Cover

Whether your van is for personal use or you’re using a company vehicle, breakdown cover is an important form of insurance to consider.

Nobody really thinks about breaking down until it happens, and when it does it can take us by surprise. But with our van breakdown cover at Driver Guardian, you’ll never be caught off guard by faulty engines, flat tyres or dead batteries.

From just £109 (or £10.40 a month) our team can provide specialist support if your van gives up on you, and get you back out on the road as soon as possible.

You really can’t afford to miss out!

Best van breakdown cover

At Driver Guardian, our breakdown cover for vans is designed to be honest, easy to understand and great value for money – which means there are never any hidden fees or complicated industry terminology to wrap your head around.

Business van breakdown cover

From couriers and tradesmen to mobile dog groomers and cleaners, many businesses rely on vans to stay afloat.

If your van breaks down on the way to a job or remains out of action after breaking down at home or the depot, you risk disappointing your clients and losing out on business – which, of course, is never good.

Whether you’re based in the UK and only need cover for when you’re travelling to and from different areas of the country, or your employees are required to travel much further afield and need European breakdown cover for vans, our policies cover all bases and keep businesses up and running.

Unless you’ve been ignoring illuminated warning lights on your dashboard for months on end, you’re probably not anticipating your van to break down.

It can happen to anyone at any time, so it’s important you know the correct steps to take if an emergency arises.

First, pull off as far to the side of the road as possible when it is safe to do so, and call us on 01704 225588 in the UK, or +441704 225588 from other parts of Europe, and let us know the situation.

The cost of van breakdown cover depends on several different factors.

For example, the older the van that you want to cover and the more miles it’s clocked up, the more expensive breakdown cover will be, as with age and higher mileage comes the increased likelihood of breakdowns.

You’ll also pay more if you decide to add European breakdown cover – be it for 31, 90 or 120 days – and of course, the longer you need the additional cover for, the more expensive it’ll be.

Personal breakdown cover also costs more than vehicle cover, and the cost of your policy will increase with every name you add on. You can pay for your van breakdown cover in one lump sum or spread the cost over 12 months – whichever is easiest and most convenient for you!

You will be covered in the following countries.

Albania, Andorra, Austria, Balearics, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canary Isles, Corsica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, San Marino, Sardinia, Serbia, Sicily, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey (west of the Bosphorus) and Vatican City.
